RECORDS
CU went 1-1 on the road trip to move its record to 3-2 overall.

Alderson-Broaddus has won three of its first four games of the season.

WIRE-TO-WIRE WIN
The Mountain Lions never trailed in Monday's win over Urbana, but was also never ahead by more than eight points in the second half against the Blue Knights.

The contest was tied six different times, but Concord led or was tied the entire 40 minutes.

Sophomore forward Trey Brisco untied the game for the final time with 2.6 seconds left on a game-winning right-handed layup as CU won by four points, 77-73.

The last time the Mountain Lions never trailed in a game was when it upset nationally-ranked West Liberty at home last season.

In that particular contest, Concord and the Hilltoppers were tied three different times.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE
Over the weekend, senior guard B.J. Hamlet averaged 26.5 points in the two games against Notre Dame and UU.

Hamlet poured in a career-high 28 points in a loss at NDC.

However, Brisco came to the forefront with a career-best 29 points including an 11-for-14 effort from the field against Urbana.

Entering Monday's game, the Stephens City, Virginia native had just 40 career points and had never scored more than eight points in a single game in his career.

Senior guard Cal Cistaro also contributed pivotal minutes in the victory over Urbana.

Cistaro came off the bench to provide 19 minutes--a career-high. Cistaro also had four points, two rebounds and two assists in the contest.

OFF AND RUNNING
Despite just a 1-2 record over its last three games, the Mountain Lions have had strong starts to each of the contest.

Concord scored 46 points in the first half against Bluefield State and 49 at Notre Dame.

Although scoring just 37 points in the first half at Urbana, CU held a 14-point lead with seven minutes remaining in the first half.

Additionally, the Maroon and Gray shot 58 percent (14-for-24) from the field in the first 20 minutes against UU.

In each of its last three games, Concord has had a double-digit lead in the final seven minutes of the first half.

LONG-RANGE SUCCESS
In Hamlet's 53 points against Notre Dame and Urbana, the Roanoke, Virginia native tallied 11 three-pointers to bring his season total to 19.

Not only is  Hamlet racking up the three-pointers, but he's also been efficient doing so.

Hamlet ranks third in the MEC in made three-pointers behind Fairmont State's Jason Jolly and West Liberty's Dalton Bolon. Hamlet also sits eighth in the conference in three-point percentage (47.5 percent / 19-for-40).

Entering this season, Hamlet was just a 35 percent career shooter from behind the arc. Hamlet has now made 128 three-pointers in his career and needs five more to move into the top 15 all-time at Concord.

GETTING STOPS
A year after allowing over 85 points per game, the Mountain Lions will come out of the Thanksgiving break tied for third in scoring defense in the MEC (79.6).

Furthermore, Concord allowed opponents to shoot 49.9 percent from the floor last season, but are limiting its foes to 46.2 percent from the field through five games this season.

BENCH PRODUCTION
Over the last two games, Concord has received an average of 22 points per game from its bench.

CU tallied 23 points from its bench against Notre Dame and another 21 at Urbana.

The last time the Mountain Lions had back-to-back 20-point games from the reserves was last year in home wins over West Virginia Wesleyan and West Liberty.

At NDC, freshman forward Jyles Webster scored eight points off the bench while freshman guard Darian Peterson chipped in an additional six points.

Peterson came up with seven points at UU, and junior guard Brendon Chevannes had six points and an additional four assists.

LONG TIME COMING
When Alderson-Broaddus visits the Carter Center, it will be the first visit from the Battlers since the 2012-13 season.

Last season, the Mountain Lions grabbed an 81-59 road win in Philippi, West Virginia.

It was the third-largest margin of victory for CU in a game in 2016-17. Hamlet drained 3-of-7 attempts from three-point range to finish with nine points.

Junior guard Tommy Bolte netted seven points.

Concord shot 50 percent from the field (32-for-64) and 50 percent (13-for-26) from three-point range in the win.

CU held A-B to 3-of-17 from three-point distance in the contest.

The only person involved in the game at the Carter Center in 2012-13 between Concord and the Battlers was head coach Todd May who was in his first season as an assistant.

Furthermore, the only players to face the Battlers in their careers are Bolte, Cistaro, Hamlet and sophomore guard Colby Hill.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
2.6- Positive turnover margin for Concord this season, ranking fourth in the MEC.

40- Points in the paint by Concord in win at Urbana.

58.1- Shooting percentage by Concord in second half in last year's win at Alderson-Broaddus.
