MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Concord University men's soccer team was unable to keep Chowan out of the net late as it fell 3-2 in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon.
Concord (2-8-1) took an early advantage with a goal from sophomore midfielder
Maxime Ramioulle, his third of the season. Ramioulle was able to beat to Chowan goalkeeper Elliott Chadderton in the 16
th minute as senior midfielder
Alex Rhodes set up the score.
CU's one-goal advantage would hold up for the remainder of the first half.
After a foul on Chowan in the box (5-2-2) in the 53rd minute, sophomore forward
Sam Ashton stepped up and converted a penalty kick to double the Mountain Lions' lead, 2-0.
But, the Hawks scored three unanswered goals including two from Josh Baker to complete the comeback in a 3-2 victory.
Ramioulle had two of the four shots on goal for Concord.

Ching Lokus Au made nine saves in his Concord debut.
The Mountain Lions jump back into Mountain East Conference play 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Field as they host Charleston.
