SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team lost in three sets to Shepherd Friday night in Mountain East Conference play at the Butcher Center.
Shepherd (16-5, 5-3 MEC) won the match 26-24, 25-12, 25-14.
After the first set needed a couple extra points to decide a winner, SU took control of the match in the second and third sets.
Junior outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus notched a team-high six kills and also added seven digs.
Senior setter
Casey Mandeville notched 12 assists and seven digs of her own. Freshman libero
Lindsay Maddox went for a team-best 15 digs.
The Mountain Lions continue their road trip 1:00 p.m. Saturday against Fairmont State.
