WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The Concord University men's basketball team lost 125-73 on the road to West Liberty Monday night at the ASRC in Mountain East Conference action.
The Mountain Lions (5-11, 1-9 MEC) jumped out to a 7-2 lead on WLU (15-1, 9-1 MEC) with freshman forward
Patrick Eugene and senior guard
Cam Shannon both scoring deuces and senior guard
Aaron Miller adding a three-pointer.
West Liberty went on a 20-2 run to take a 22-9 lead and take control of the game.
The Hilltoppers took a 60-37 lead into halftime and went on to win the contest.
Miller scored a team-high 15 points and will need three points in his next game to amass 1,500 points for his career. Shannon added 11 points. Sophomore guard
Tommy Bolte notched 12 points off the bench, his first game with 10 or more points since a home contest against West Virginia State November 19.

Patrick Eugene just missed a double-double with eight points and eight rebounds. Junior guard
B.J. Hamlet also had eight points.
Concord returns to action 7:30 p.m. Thursday when it welcomes UVa.-Wise to the Carter Center.
