TIFFIN, Ohio- The Concord University men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road at Tiffin University in the season opener for both teams.
Concord falls to 0-1-0, while Tiffin improves to 1-0-0.
The Dragons did their damage in the first half, with three goals over a 12 minute span. The first goal came at the 13:36 mark before TU tallied two more goals in the 22nd and 25th minute.
Concord managed four attempts at goal, with junior midfielder
Alex Rhodes, junior forward
Max Simpson freshman midfielder and
Josh Mattson each mustering an attampt at goal. The Dragons outshot the Mountain Lions 15-4. The Dragons were called offside 13 times.
The Mountain Lions return to action on Sunday in Ohio when they face The University of Findlay on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
