After playing two games against each team from the north, Concord will play four-game series with the other five teams, Charleston, Glenville State, UVa.-Wise, West Virginia State and West Virginia Wesleyan, in the south division.
Last Friday, Concord swept Fairmont State as it defeated FSU 16-2 in game one before downing the Fighting Falcons 17-7 in the night cap.

Werner pitched 8.2 innings, allowed one run on nine hits and struck out a career-high eight hitters.
It was the best pitching performance of the season for Werner and the best outing for the Brookville, Indiana native since he tossed six-shutout innings last season against Glenville State when he allowed two hits and fanned six batters.
Sophomore infielder

In game two against Fairmont State, Frazier also drilled his first career home run, a solo shot to left center field.
Heading into the weekend, Frazier leads the MEC in batting average (.447).
