Urbana was able to get off one shot in the final nine minutes of regulation, but the shot was stopped by sophomore goalkeeper Emily Simpkins, one of six saves for her in the contest.

In the first overtime stanza, each team had a shot got high over the goal as sophomore defender Joanna Aiello sailed one high and UU had a header miss the target. Simpkins was forced to make two more saves over the final 10 minutes of the contest to keep the game tied.

Junior midfielder Micharae Thompson and freshman forward Megan Walsh also had a shot along with Aiello's attempt and Elias' three.

For Elias, it was her second and third scores of the season.
