• NDC has almost an identical record at 9-3 overall and 3-3 versus MEC foes.
• Meanwhile, Urbana is 1-10 overall and 0-6 in the league.
• With 12 games behind it in the season, CU has played half of its games away from the Carter Center this season, four away and two at neutral sites.
• The Mountain Lions are 4-2 when playing away from Athens.
• Most recently, Concord dropped a pair of road games at Shepherd and Fairmont State.
• CU was led by senior forward
Terry Hopewell who averaged 21.5 points and 14 rebounds on the latest two-game road stint as he posted back-to-back double-doubles.
• In the last four MEC games, Hopewell and senior forward
Jametrius Wade have gone to work against their post opponents.
• Hopewell is 27-for-40 (67.5 percent) from the field in his last four league contests. Wade isn't far behind with a 22-for-34 (64.7 percent) effort from the floor in his last four MEC games.
• Combined, the duo has posted a 66.2 field-goal percentage from the floor in the last four games versus MEC foes.
• Additionally, the 66.2 percent that Hopewell and Wade have combined to shoot is higher than both's season field-goal percentage.
• In his first year at Concord, Wade shot just 2-for-17 from behind the work as he did most of his work in the post and on second-chance points.
• However, in 2015-16, there's been a vast improvement from Wade from behind the arc.
• Attempting a modest 15 three-pointers, the Detroit, Michigan native has knocked down eight, including a career-high three three-pointers at Fairmont State.
• In fact, Wade is 6-for-9 from three-point range in his last three games.
• In four MEC match-ups with Notre Dame, the Mountain Lions have only won one, which was the most recent meeting in Athens last January.
• Concord came away with a 85-72 win over the Falcons as junior guard
Aaron Miller scored 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting.
• Senior guard
Rob Reed added 17 points off the bench. Hopewell posted 17 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.
• In four career games against NDC, Hopewell has three double-doubles and is averaging 14.2 points and 11.7 rebounds.
• While Concord is ranked in the top five in several key MEC statistical categories such as rebounding margin (second), scoring offense (fourth) and three-point percentage (fourth), what may go unnoticed is CU is fourth in the league in free-throw percentage.
• The Maroon and Gray is shooting 75.4 percent from the foul line.
• The Mountain Lions have five players who have shot at least 40 free throws this season and are at least 70 percent from the charity stripe led by Miller who is second in the MEC.
• Head coach
Kent McBride is 4-0 in his career versus Urbana and the Mountain Lions have the same mark against the Blue Knights in the all-time series.
• Last season, Concord pulled out a seven-point win, 93-86, at Urbana before dominating UU in a 91-70 home victory.
• Miller poured in 22 points while Wade added 10 points at home
