WISE, Va. – The Concord University women's basketball team dropped a road decision 87-58 to UVa.-Wise Thursday night at the Prior Center in Mountain East Conference action.

However, the Cavaliers (7-8, 3-8 MEC) outscored the CU (3-13, 2-9 MEC) 26-14 in the second quarter to carry a 42-25 lead into halftime. UVa.-Wise never trailed in the game again.
Concord was led in scoring by sophomore guard
Lindsey Overbey who finished with 17 points, just two shy of a career-high. Senior forward
Kylie Molisee added 11 points and five rebounds while Boothe matched Molisee with 11 points.
