MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• CU enters the game with a 10-4 overall mark and 5-3 in the Mountain East Conference.
• WJU is ranked No. 24 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and No. 16 by the D2SIDA.
• The Cardinals have a record of 14-1 overall and 7-1 in the MEC.
• WLU is the only undefeated team left in the nation at 14-0. West Liberty is ranked number one.
• Concord won a two-point decision over Notre Dame, 99-97, Sunday and returned to win 100-90 against Urbana Tuesday night.
• The Mountain Lions made two defensive stops late versus NDC before scoring 22 unanswered points to begin the second half at UU to pull away from the Blue Knights.
• Of the 10 wins the Mountain Lions have this season, seven of those have come by 10 points or fewer.
• After trailing 50-42 at halftime, CU stormed back to beat Urbana. It was the first time this season Concord has won a game after being down at the break.
• Heading into Saturday's game, a couple of CU players and head coach
Kent McBride are closing in on some career achievements.
• Junior guard
Aaron Miller has scored 908 points in his Concord career and is seeking to become the 37th player in school history to score 1,000 points.
• Senior forward
Terry Hopewell is closing in on the 500-career-rebound mark, needing just 18 more rebounds to become the 23rd player in school history with 500 boards.
• McBride's next win will put him in fifth place on the all-time wins list at Concord with 72 victories.
• Against Urbana, Concord scored at least 100 points for the fourth time this season.

Rob Reed scored 26 points for his eight 20-point game of the season while senior forward
Terry Hopewell added 22 points.
• In McBride's previous four seasons, Concord only hit 100 points twice.
• The four times CU has gone over the century mark is the most games Concord has scored 100 points since the 2003-04 season when they scored 100 seven different times.

Jametrius Wade have been the focal point of the Concord offense, several role players stepped up for the Mountain Lions on the recent road trip.

Cam Shannon scored a season-high 15 points in the win at Notre Dame, the first time Shannon scored 10 or more points since March 4, 2014.

Michael Sanchez provided 11 points off the bench at NDC while freshman guard
Tommy Bolte supplied seven points against NDC and added six points and four assists at Urbana.
• CU defeated Wheeling Jesuit at the Carter Center last season during the first week of January, 84-80.
• Miller scored 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting and 6-for-7 from three-point range. Hopewell added 16 points and 15 rebounds.
• The Cardinals beat the Maroon and Gray in the MEC Tournament by a narrow margin, 73-70.
• Wade scored 19 points while going 8-for-12 from the field.
• Over his last two games versus WJU, Reed is averaging 28.5 points per game in his last two games against the Cardinals while shooting 50 percent (21-for-42) from the field.
• After shooting 50 percent from the field in two games over the first 12 contest, the Mountain Lions have posted a 50 percent or better shooting percent in back-to-back games.
• Against NDC, CU shot 53 percent (35-for-66) from the field.
• On Tuesday, Concord shot 57.6 percent (38-for-66) from the floor. Here's the players who took at least five shots and hit at least 50 percent of their shots over the two-game stretch.

18- The last four meetings at CU or on a neutral court between CU and WJU have been decided by 18 points.

SCOUTING WHEELING JESUIT
• The Cardinals come into Saturday's game having won nine game in a row, the second-longest win streak in the MEC.
• Five players average double figures for Danny Sancomb's team, led by Eric Seifert with 15.9 points per game.
• Haywood Highsmith averages a near double-double per game with 12.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
• This is the first time Wheeling Jesuit has been ranked nationally since the 1996-1997 season.
SCOUTING WEST LIBERTY
• WLU is ranked number one in the nation by both major bolls, NABC and D2SIDA.
• The Hilltoppers lead the nation in scoring as they average 106.9 points per game.
• Seger Bonifant leads the nation in scoring, averaging 27.0 points per game while shooting a staggering 59.3 percent from the floor and 51.4 from beyond the arc.
• Aside from starting 14-0, the Hilltoppers have only had two games decided by less than 10 points this season. West Liberty plays at UVa.-Wise before coming to Athens.
