CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team fell on the road Friday night to Mountain East Conference rival in league competition.
Concord lost the match 20-25, 21-25, 25-20, 15-25.
Freshman middle hitter
Brooke Heck set a career-high by racking up 13 kills and hitting .300 in 30 chances. Freshman outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus also finished with double-digit kills with 11.
Freshman setter
Jayden Jacobs dished out 17 assists while sophomore setter
Casey Mandeville notched 16 assists in the match versus Charleston.
Along with her 13 kills, Heck also recorded five blocks in the match.
Freshman libero
Erin Shannon recorded a personal-best with 26 digs.
The Mountain Lions will up the home MEC portion of their schedule 5:00 p.m. Saturday versus West Virginia State.
