Live Stats ATHENS, W.Va. – After having more than a week off from play, the Concord University softball team will take to the field 3:00 p.m. Saturday against Glenville State and 1:00 p.m. Sunday versus West Virginia Wesleyan.

THE RECORDS• Concord is 22-10 overall and 10-2 in the Mountain East Conference, placing them in tie for second with Charleston.
• GSC is 8-20 overall and 3-9 in league play.
• At 9-1 in the MEC, West Virginia Wesleyan is first in the conference standings. The Bobcats have a 19-5 overall mark.
THE COACHES•
Alisa Tasler is 93-93 in her fourth season in charge of the Concord program.
• GSC's Mandy Sansbury is 67-95 in four seasons.
• In his 23 seasons at WVWC, Steve Warner is 876-325-1 at West Virginia Wesleyan.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• On April 2, CU fell in a doubleheader to Charleston 1-0 and 4-3.
• In the narrow 1-0 loss to the Golden Eagles, senior pitcher / first baseman
Lacey McDougall gave up five hits and one run as she was the hard luck loser on a solo inside-the-park home run in the fifth inning.
• McDougall did toss her 14
th complete game of the season in her 14
th start of the season.
• Along with the 14 complete games this season, McDougall is 10-4 with a 1.25 ERA and has struck out 55 batters in 95 innings of work.
• The Chesapeake, Virginia native also produced Concord's three runs in the nightcap against Charleston.
• Last year Concord swept a two-game regular season series from Glenville State before defeating them in the opening game of the MEC Tournament, 8-7.
• Junior second baseman
Kristen Rose had at least one hit in all three games as she went 2-for-4 with four runs scored and three RBI in the first meeting of the season.
• In the postseason matchup, sophomore catcher
Carly DiVirgilio, sophomore outfielder
Lauren Lewis and senior first baseman
Brantlea Wood each had two RBI.
• Sunday's games with West Virginia Wesleyan will feature some of the best offense and pitching the conference has to offer.
• WVWC has the best team batting average in the MEC (.346) and is tied for first in the league in ERA with Concord (1.99).
• Meanwhile, the Mountain Lions have the third best batting average in the MEC (.325).
• West Virginia Wesleyan and CU are first and second in the conference in home runs hits with WVWC holding a 29-25 edge while Concord has more aggressive on the bases with 38 steals to the Bobcats 13.
• Freshman
Katie Snodgress (1.06) and McDougall are first and second in the MEC in ERA while West Virginia Wesleyan's Hannah Vet is third (1.35).
• WVWC's Brooklyn Waddell is second in the league in hits (47), but junior catcher
Alyssa Morris (38), McDougall (37) and sophomore shortstop
Alayna Furr (34) occupy spots three through five.
• Furr and Waddell are tied for first in the MEC in runs scored while Morris edges out Waddell in home runs 10-9.
• Of the top 15 hitters in the conference, CU and WVWC has seven hitters with Furr (fourth / .430), Morris (ninth / .413) and McDougall (11
th / .398) representing the Mountain Lions.
