RECORDS• Concord is 7-6 overall and has compiled a mark of 6-4 in Mountain East Conference play.
• NDC has put together a record of 4-2 overall and is 4-0 against conference foes.
THE COACHES• CU's
Andrew Wright is 134-94 in the midst of his fifth season at his alma mater.
• Notre Dame is coached by former Major League pitcher Len Barker who is in his fourth season at the school.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• CU is coming off playing in the longest game in Division II this season as they fell 17-16 in 17 innings against Wingate Tuesday night on the road.

Chad Frazier had four RBI while senior first baseman
Ryan Johnston and junior shortstop
Brad Sullivan each had two RBI in the contest.
• Over his last two contests, Sullivan has four hits and five RBI as he is tied with junior outfielder
Andrew Seigel for the team lead in hits (14), and is also tied for the team lead in RBI (eight) with Johnston and freshman outfielder
Andy Szamski.
• Since making his debut in the starting lineup seven games ago versus Winston-Salem State, junior infielder
Holt Cassada has batted a team-best .346 (9-for-26) and has four multi-hit games in that span.
• The Mountain Lions are 5-2 this season when Cassada starts at third base as opposed to 2-4 when someone else does.
• Senior outfielders
T.J. Brockway and
Jerrod Groves have been very patient at the plate early this season as both have drawn a team-best 10 walks.
• Additionally, Groves has been hit by a pitch seven times to own a club-high .444 on-base percentage.
• Brockway has already surpassed last season's walk total of eight and Groves is well on his way to passing last year's high of 14.
• Over its last three contests, CU has hit .358 (19-for-53) with runners in scoring position (RISP) as it raised their average from .229 to .283 in that time frame.
• In his last start versus Fairmont State, sophomore pitcher
Zach Kelly was just two outs away from recording his second career complete game shutout before FSU tagged him for three runs.
• This past week, freshman pitcher
Reece Edwards came away with two stellar relief appearances.
• On Monday versus Fairmont State, Edwards fired three scoreless innings of relief as he earned his first collegiate win.
• The next day against Wingate Edwards entered the game and tossed six innings, retiring 10 straight batters at one point.
• Last season at Anderson Field, CU swept a four-game set against Notre Dame as they held the Falcons to six runs in 28 innings.
• In game two of the series, Brockway recorded a 3-for-3 game with two RBI as CU won 9-2.
• Junior pitcher
Chris Kelly limited the Falcons to two runs in game three of the series while Z. Kelly threw five innings of shutout ball in the series finale to lift the Mountain Lions to a 5-0 win.
• Concord went a perfect 5-0 against NDC last season as they dominated the Falcons 14-0 in the opening game of the MEC Tournament.
• Seigel and Sullivan both had three RBI in the playoff game while Groves and Seigel each racked up three hits.
• Concord is 8-1 against Notre Dame all-time.
