RECORDS• The Mountain Lions will go into the UNCP Invitational with a record of 2-2.
• UNC-Pembroke will play its first games of the season this weekend.
• Like CU, Pfeiffer is 2-2 on the young season.
• Kutztown will be playing its first games of the season when they travel to the UNCP Invitational.
• Coker has also yet to play a game this season.
• Winston-Salem State is 0-2 after getting swept by Concord Jan. 31.

Alisa Tasler is in the midst of her fourth season at CU and has a record of 73-85.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• A season ago, the Mountain Lions went 3-1 at the UNCP Invitational as their only loss came to Kutztown, who was ranked nationally at the time, by a score of 4-3.
• CU also took down UNC-Pembroke 9-7 in eight innings.
• Sophomore outfielder / shortstop
Lauren Lewis led the Mountain Lions with four RBI against the Indians as she hit her first career home run, a three-run shot, in the sixth inning as Concord forced extra innings.
• Last season against UNC-Pembroke, the game-winning run came courtesy of senior outfielder
Jessica Seymour whose eighth-inning triple scored Lewis.
• The Mountain Lions outscored Winston-Salem in a two-game sweep 24-5.
• Junior catcher
Alyssa Morris added two home runs and five RBI as Morris, the all-time Concord home run leader, added to her total and now has 24 career homers.
• After a six RBI weekend versus WSSU and Pfeiffer, Morris passed Ashley Jackson for seventh on the career RBI list and sits one behind Becca Gleason for sixth all-time.
• Morris has 77 career RBI as a Mountain Lion.
• Sophomore third baseman
Courtney Purtell added five RBI and two doubles in the two-game series against Winston-Salem State.
• Senior first baseman / pitcher
Lacey McDougall pitched 12 innings over the weekend, allowing just three earned runs and striking out 10 total batters.
• The seven strikeouts against Pfeiffer was one shy of McDougall's single-game best.
• The Chesapeake, Virginia native moved into third place on the all-time strikeouts list at Concord.
• In game one versus Winston-Salem State, senior first baseman / pitcher
Brantlea Wood set a new career high with four RBI.
• Saturday marked the first time in Wood's career she had a three-hit game as well.
• The Mountain Lions are excelling in the early season with runners in scoring position (RISP) as they are hitting .408 (20-for-48) in that particular situation.
• Wood is 4-for-5 with RISP this season.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS• UNC-Pembroke finished the 2014 season at 22-24 overall.
• After sweeping Concord, Pfeiffer lost a pair of games to Lenoir-Rhyne Wednesday.
• Pfeiffer's Julie Bullington has hit two home runs in four games.
• Kutztown ended the 2014 season at 20-29, a season after winning the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament and finishing as the national runner-up.
• Last season, Coker was 16-27 overall.
