RECORDS• Concord is having its best season under
Kent McBride at 18-8 overall and 14-7 in the Mountain East Conference.
• Davis & Elkins has put together a mark of 6-18.
• UVa.-Wise is 2-24 overall and 1-20 in the MEC.
THE COACHES• In the fourth season at his alma mater, McBride has compiled a record of 59-52.
• Chris Cottrill has been the coach at Davis & Elkins for two seasons, putting a together a record of 19-35.
• UVa.-Wise's Blake Mellinger is 13-40 in his two seasons coaching the Cavaliers.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• Concord ran its record to 18-8 overall and 14-7 in the Mountain East Conference by sweeping its first true two-game road trip since Feb. 16-18, 2013 when it defeated Ohio Valley and West Virginia State.
• The Mountain Lions will start the week in third place with just one conference game left.
• The top four seeds will secure a bye into the quarterfinal round of the MEC tournament, March 5-8.
• CU can lock up a spot in the top four by beating UVa.-Wise AND getting a loss from either Wheeling Jesuit OR Glenville State.
• In CU's 95-82 victory over Fairmont State, Concord shot a season-high 61.4 percent from the field.
• It was the third time the Mountain Lions have eclipsed 60 percent shooting this season.
• Sophomore guard and reigning MEC Player of the Week
Aaron Miller shot 11-for-12 from the field in the win at Fairmont State as the Stephens City, Virginia native scored 29 points.
• CU got its second come-from-behind win of the season in a 62-53 victory at Shepherd Saturday.
• After trailing 38-26 at halftime, the Maroon and Gray limited Shepherd to 15 second half points on 6-for-26 shooting.  Senior guard
Mike Boyd was a catalyst in both CU wins as he had 14 points and a career-high 12 assists in the Fairmont State contest, and returned Saturday to score seven points, grab six rebounds and hand out nine assists.
• In the process, Boyd passed head coach
Kent McBride for fourth all-time in career assists at Concord.
• Boyd now has 512 assists in his career, and over his last three games the Cincinnati, Ohio native has tallied 31 assists to four turnovers.
• The senior point guard also became the first Concord player to record 1,000 or more points and 500 assists or more during a career.
• Meanwhile, Miller connected on four three-pointers in CU's win over Shepherd, marking the ninth time this season Miller has hit four or more three-pointers in a contest
• Only West Liberty's Seger Bonifant (24) and Notre Dame's Tyree Gaiter (17) have more 20-point games than Miller's 16 this season.
• Against Fairmont State, Concord recorded a season-high 13 steals as Boyd came away with a season-high four thefts

• By winning both games against Davis & Elkins and UVa.-Wise, Concord would have a winning streak of six games entering the MEC Tournament.
• The Mountain Lions have not had a winning streak of five or more games since Nov. 26-Dec. 11, 2010 when they won six games in a row.
• CU is seeking to lock up its first 20 win season since 2003-2004 when McBride was a player.
• The 2003-2004 Mountain Lions went 22-7.Â
• Concord will matchup against Davis & Elkins (6-18), a former WVIAC foe, in its final non-conference game of the season.

Cam Shannon are the only current Mountain Lions to face the Senators.
• During the 2012-13 season, Boyd averaged 13 points and 6.5 assists in two games versus D&E.

Rob Reed led four Mountain Lions in double figures, scoring 13 points, in a 92-55 win over UVa.-Wise Jan. 22 at the Carter Center.

Jalen Camper had a career-high 11 rebounds against the Cavaliers.
• Davis & Elkins is led by Juwan Strothers who is averaging 13.4 points per game.
• The Senators are 4-7 in non-conference games this season.
• Concord and D&E have two common opponents, Shepherd and Blufield State.
• The Senators have gone 0-4 against the two while CU is 4-0 against SU and BSC this season.
• UVa.-Wise (2-24) is led by Philip Owens who is averaging 14.2 points per game and 4.2 assists.
• UVa.-Wise is seeking its second conference win of the season.
A CONCORD WIN WOULD...• A Concord win over Davis & Elkins would be the first five-win non-conference season since 2007-08.
• A Concord win over UVa.-Wise would be the sixth MEC opponent the Mountain Lions have swept this season along with Fairmont State, Shepherd, Urbana, West Virginia State and West Virginia Wesleyan.Â
