Complete Game NotesATHENS, W.Va. - For the final time in the 2015-16 season, the Concord University men's basketball team will step out of Mountain East Conference play for a two-game swing before Christmas.

MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• Concord travels to Davis & Elkins 7:00 p.m. Monday before welcoming Mercer County rival Bluefield State 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Carter Center.
• The Mountain Lions start the week 7-1 overall and 3-1 in the MEC.
• D&E has won four straight games and sits at 4-4 while Bluefield State is 1-10 this season.
• While junior guard
Aaron Miller and senior guard
Rob Reed are two of the best three-pointer shooters in the Mountain East Conference, over their careers, the duo are also two of the best marksmen from beyond the arc across Division II.
• Miller ranks 13th in three-point percentage in the nation during his career at .453, and Reed is 14th nationally for his career in three-point percentage at .448.
• Meanwhile, senior forward
Jametrius Wade ranks 15th nationally in career rebounds per game at 7.8 since arriving in Athens prior to the 2014-15 season.
• Part of Concord's early season has been the ability to jump out on opponents.
• This season, Concord is outscoring its opponents by 47 points in the first half (341-294) compared to just 19 points in the second half (360-341).
• Miller leads Concord with almost 11 points per game (10.7) in the first half this season.
• Additionally, CU is shooting 49.1 percent (119-for-242) from the field in the first half of games this compared to 47.3 percent overall.
• After back-to-back double-doubles versus Glenville State and West Virginia Wesleyan, senior forward
Terry Hopewell is one of four players averaging a double-double in the MEC, joining WVWC's Tanner McGrew,UVa.-Wise's Matt Day and Wheeling Jesuit's Haywood Highsmith.
• Hopewell is averaging 11.6 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per game. Hopewell fourth in the nation in rebounds per game. Hopewell's 11.3 rpg and senior
Jametrius Wade's 7.4 rpg is a big reason CU is fourth in the MEC in rebounding margin (+5.9).
• The Mountain Lions are one of five teams in the conference that have five players averaging double figure points per game joining Shepherd, West Virginia Wesleyan, West Liberty and Wheeling Jesuit.
• All five of Concord's starters have at least 10 points per game.
• Not only is junior guard
Michael Sanchez averaging 10.3 points per game, he has been responsible for setting everyone else up on the floor. Sanchez is second in the MEC in assists per game at 6.2.
• Entering Monday's contest, head coach
Kent McBride has lead the Mountain Lions to six straight wins in non-conference play, and Concord has won nine of their last 10 games against teams outside of the MEC.
• In his five season on the Concord sidelines, McBride has had great success in non-conference play, owning a 19-5 mark.
• Concord has a combined record of 100-61 all-time versus Bluefield State and Davis & Elkins.
• McBride is 10-1 versus the teams, going back to when Davis & Elkins was in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
• Three Concord players have also had nice games when playing Bluefield State.
• Miller is averaging 20 points per game in his last three contests versus BSC while Rob is posting 18.3 points per game in his career agaisnt the Blues.
• In two games against Bluefield State, Wade is averaging a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds.

72.2- Combined free throw percentage for Hopewell and Wade (60-83). Last season, they shot 59.0.
32.7- Three-point field goal defense for Concord, fourth-best in the MEC.

SCOUTING DAVIS & ELKINS• The Senators are led by Kevin Bracy-Davis who is averaging 20 points per game this season.
• Addtionally, Bracy-Davis is shooting 58 percent (58-for-100) from the field, and as a team Davis & Elkins is shooting 48.7 percent.
• Concord and D&E have one common opponent in West Virginia Wesleyan.
• Davis and & Elkins defeated WVWC 82-75 prior to the Bobcats visiting Athens.
• The Senators have also knocked off fellow MEC foe Urbana this season in overtime 101-99.
SCOUTING BLUEFIELD STATE• After losing 10 straight, the Blues picked up a convincing 115-67 win over Ohio-Lancaster in Salem, West Virginia Saturday.
• Chas Harvey is averaging 17.8 points per game while Josh Windham is scoring 14.5 points per contest.
• In just four games for BSC, Mark Durgan is averaging 26.5 points per outing. Earlier this season, Windham finished with a double-double fo 14 points and 10 rebounds as Bluefield State fell to CU 81-66 at the Currence Classic.
• Bluefield State was held to 31.5 percent (23-for-73) shooting from the field.
