MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• Concord is 8-22 overall this season and 6-6 in the Mountain East Conference.
• CU is in seventh place in the conference standings and is just a half game behind Shepherd and West Liberty for fifth place.
• Against UVa.-Wise Tuesday, freshman outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus collected a career-high 21 kills while sophomore middle hitter
Shea Hoffman had a season-high 12 kills and a career-high nine blocks.
• Tuesday was the 12
th time that Pranckus has gone over 10 kills this season, a team-high.
• With 29 more kills, Pranckus can record 300 kills for the season.
• Hoffman's nine blocks aided the Mountain Lions in having 10 team blocks for the match which was the second time in three matches Concord has had double-digit blocks.
• Freshman middle hitter
Brooke Heck added 17 kills in Tuesday's win and elevated her season hitting percentage to .350, which is third in the MEC.
• In MEC games this season, Heck is hitting .385 which is also third in the league.
• Over her last five matches, Heck has hit .400 or better in four of them.
• Sophomore setter
Casey Mandeville went over 800 assists for her career as she matched her season-best with 29 assists versus UVa.-Wise. The Plain City, Ohio native is just one of nine players to have 800 or more assists in a career at Concord.
• Freshman setter
Jayden Jacobs equaled her career high in assists with 32 against the Cavaliers, and with 31 more assists Jacobs can tally 500 assists this season.
• In Tuesday's match, sophomore middle hitter
Alexis Elliott hit a season-best .400 as she notched nine kills in 20 attempts with just one error.
• Earlier this season, Concord split two matches with WVSU and Charleston as they defeated the Yellow Jackets in four sets and falling to UC.
• Heck combined for 24 kills and seven kills in the two matches against UC and West Virginia State.
• Sophomore outside hitter
Lisette Roldan had season-best 14 kills in the victory over WVSU.
SCOUTING WEST VIRGINIA STATE• West Virginia State is 7-15 overall and is in 10
th place in the MEC with a 3-9 mark.
• Kendra Benson paced the Yellow Jackets with 14 kills at Concord earlier this season.
• Rebekah Baldwin leads West Virginia State this season with 157 kills.
SCOUTING CHARLESTON• UC is 15-8 overall and 10-2 against conference foes. The Golden Eagles are in third place in the MEC.
• Mia Herrod registered 15 kills for Charleston in the previous matchup with Concord.
• UC's Randi Estrada is second in the league in hitting percentage at .352. Â
