Katelyn Gibbs off the bench, the Mountain Lions (3-4-4, 2-4-3 MEC) kept the Bobcats off the scoreboard and earned a crucial point with the tie.
Simpkins recorded her second straight game with double-digit saves as she turned aside all 10 shots on goal that West Virginia Wesleyan registered.
After CU was able to hold steady with the Bobcats for 90 minutes, Concord had its best chance to break the scoreless game in the first overtime as senior forward
Kari Simon pushed a potential game-winning goal wide of the net and had another shot saved.
Freshman forward
Pilar Elias and Reilly also tallied shots on goal.
The Mountain Lions were outshot in the game 26-8 and 10-3 on shots on goal.
Concord travels to Urbana 1:00 p.m. Friday.
