ATHENS, W.Va- The Concord University Men's Soccer Team fell 2-1 to the visiting University of Findlay Oilers on Tuesday afternoon at Anderson Field.
 
Concord falls to 3-11 on the season, while Findlay improves to 9-4-1 on the year.
 
Concord started the game on a positive note as senior 
Tyler Harris had a good chance go wide in the first couple of minutes.  Sophomore midfielder 
Adam Carnwath scored his first career goal in the 20
th minute after capitalizing on a mistake from the Oilers.  Concord continued to apply pressure the rest of the first half with senior defender 
Joe Sweet attempting a shot that went over the crossbar and senior defender 
Alex Williams forcing a save from Findlay goalkeeper Ben Richter from a corner kick. 
 
Findlay responded with a goal of their own in the 56
th minute to make the score 1-1.  Findlay then added a second goal in the 71
st minute to finish the scoring for the day.

Mitchell Thompson recorded five saves in the match. 
 
Findlay outshot the Mountain Lions 17-11 overall and had seven attempts on target to Concord's three. 
 
Concord hosts their final home game of the season against nationally ranked Charleston.  Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
