MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• CU enters the weekend with a 5-18 overall record, but a 3-3 mark against league foes.
• The .500 mark in the MEC has Concord in sixth place.
• The Mountain Lions have put together a three-game win streak with victories over Davis & Elkins, Glenville State and West Virginia Wesleyan.
• During the winning streak, freshman outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus has led the charge for the Mountain Lions with 40 kills and 45 digs. It is the best three-game stretch for Pranckus this season.
• Freshman middle hitter
Brooke Heck has hit a blistering .508 over her last three matches including a hitting percentage of .684 against Glenville State and .619 versus Davis & Elkins.
• Pranckus is second among freshmen in the MEC in kills (186) while Heck is second in hitting percentage (.311).
• At her current pace, Heck has a chance to break the all-time single-season hitting percentage record at .310.
• In nine of her last 11 matches, freshman libero
Erin Shannon has record double-digit digs and has four matches of 20 or more digs in that time frame.
• Freshman setter
Jayden Jacobs carries a string of five straight matches with at least 10 assists entering the weekend, and has notched matches of 18, 19 and 24 assists during the winning streak.
• Sophomore setter
Casey Mandeville has put together a similar stretch as two of her last four matches have resulted 20 or more assists.
• Mandeville has already surpassed her assists total from last year of 332 with 354 this season.
• The Mountain Lions have already played a match that was considered a non-conference meeting with Urbana at the HOF City Challege at the beginning of September.
• Sophomore outside hitter
Lisette Roldan led CU with nine kills versus UU.
• Concord is 2-1 all-time versus Notre Dame including a five-set victory last season at home.
• Roldan recorded 10 kills while sophomore middle hitter
Shea Hoffman had six kills and five blocks in the win.
SCOUTING NOTRE DAME• Notre Dame is 2-14 overall and 1-5 in the MEC.
• The lone conference win for NDC was a four-set win over West Virginia State.
• Lindsey Shirilla leads the Falcons with 171 kills and 30 blocks this season.
SCOUTING URBANA• The Blue Knights have a record of 7-11 overall and 1-5 in the league.
• Urbana swept Notre Dame for its only MEC victory on October 6.
• Reigning MEC Freshman of the Year Katlynn Dunlap has 218 kills and 174 digs for Urbana.
