ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team notched its second straight Mountain East Conference win Saturday afternoon at the Carter Center.
CU (4-18, 3-3 MEC) defeated Glenville State in straight sets (25-12, 25-14, 15-17).
Freshman middle hitter
Brooke Heck led the Mountain Lions with 13 kills while not committing an error in 19 attempts for an outstanding hitting percentage of .684.

Alexi Pranckus came through with seven kills in the match. Pranckus and freshman libero
Erin Shannon notched 12 digs each, and sophomore middle hitter Alexi Elliott had 11 digs.

Jayden Jacobs tallied 19 assists and sophomore setter
Casey Mandeville amassed 14 assists. Along her with 19 assists, Jacobs added a career-best four service aces.
With Saturday's sweep of Glenville State, the Mountain Lions have now won the last nine sets they have played against the Pioneers.
CU continues its five-game home stand 5:00 p.m. Tuesday versus Davis & Elkins in a non-conference tilt.
