Complete Game NotesATHENS, W.Va. - Coming off a tough loss to Glenville State Saturday, the Concord University men's basketball will seek to start a new winning streak versus West Virginia Wesleyan 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Notre Dame 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

RECORDS• Concord enters play with a record of 11-6 overall and 7-5 in the Mountain East Conference. If the postseason started today, the Mountain Lions would host a home playoff game as the five seed.
• West Virginia Wesleyan is 8-10 overall and 6-6 in the league.
• Notre Dame has compiled a mark of 10-8 overall and is tied with WVWC at 6-6 in the conference standings.
THE COACHES• Concord's
Kent McBride is 52-50 in four seasons at his alma mater.
• Gary Nottingham is in his first season at West Virginia Wesleyan, but has a 284-292 record in 21 seasons as a head coach.
• NDC's Tim Koenig is 21-27 in the midst of second season in charge of the Falcons.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES• Before falling 89-82 to Glenville State, the Mountain Lions had four in a row including a 92-55 blowout win over UVa.-Wise January 22 at the Carter Center in which all 12 Concord players scored including freshman guard
Nick Deems who hit two three-point attempts and scored a career-high six points.
• In the contest versus GSC, junior forward
Terry Hopewell notched his fifth double-double of the season as he scored 22 points to go along with 11 rebounds.
• Sophomore guard
Aaron Miller also contributed 22 points, collecting his team-best ninth 20+ point game of the season.
• For the season, Miller is averaging 19.1 points per game (ppg) which is fourth in the Mountain East Conference and has also buried 50 three-pointers, third in the league.
• Before Saturday's game, senior point guard
Mike Boyd was honored as the 36th member of the 1,000-point club.
• For his career, the Cincinnati, Ohio has scored 1,176 points, 24th in Concord history. Matter-of-factly, Boyd's 10 points against Glenville State allowed him to pass Bernie Hamrick for 24th all-time.
• By scoring three points this weekend, Boyd will move into 23rd on the all-time scoring list.
• Heading into play this weekend, Boyd leads the MEC in assists per game (apg) with 5.8.
• Boyd continues to climb the ladder in career assists at CU as he places sixth with 459 career helpers.
• Over its last three games, the CU bench has averaged 35 points per game, including a season-high 53 versus UVa.-Wise.
• Junior
Rob Reed has been at the forefront of the Mountain Lion bench production, averaging 11.0 points and scoring at least 10 points in three consecutive games.
• In his last two contests, Reed is 7-of-12 from behind the arc and has seen his season percentage from three-point range jump from .377 (23-for-61) to .411 (30-for-73).
• The Concord bench has also chipped in to provide rebounds as the CU reserves have averaged 16.6 rebounds per game in the previous three games.
• Reed had a career-high seven boards against West Virginia State while sophomore forward
Jalen Camper collected a personal-best 11 versus UVa.-Wise to help Concord's rebounding effort that ranks second in rebounding margain (+6.2) in the MEC.
• The Mountain Lions have already taken down WVWC once this season as they won at West Virginia Wesleyan, 54-41, Dec. 7.
• Miller hit all four three-point attmepts to score 20 points in addition to grabbing a career-high nine rebounds.
• CU also held the Bobcats to 25 percent shooting, its best defensive performance of the season.
• West Virginia Wesleyan's Tanner McGrew leads the conference in rebounds per game (rpg) at 12.6.
• However, earlier this season Concord held McGrew to nine rebounds, just one of two times he hasn't been able to tally 10 or more rebounds in a conference games.
• Thursday will pit three of the best post players in the conference in McGrew and Concord's junior forward
Jametrius Wade and Hopewell.
• The trio ranks first, third and fifth in the conference in rebounding.
• Additionally, Hopewell is leading the league in field-goal percentage (.608 / 76-for-125).
• The Bobcats are holding opponents to 42.0 percent shooting from the field, second in the league.
• CU continues to have the second-best shooting offense in the league (50.2 percent).
• WVWC has won three of its last four games.
• Meanwhile, Notre Dame downed Concore 86-76 earlier this season.
• Hopewell had 14 points and 12 rebounds in the defeat.
• Notre Dame possesses the league's highest-scoring duo in Lawrence DeArmond (20.9) and Tyree Gaiter (20.8) who sit second and third in MEC in ppg.
• DeArmond and Gaiter have combined to score 50.5 percent of the Falcons' points this season.
• Additionally, Gaiter has made the most free throw of any player in the conference (131) and has the sixth-best percentage (.840 / 131-for-156).
• Notre Dame is just ahead of the Mountain Lions in terms of scoring offense 82.6-82.5 ppg, fourth and fifth in the MEC.
A CONCORD WIN WOULD...• A Concord win over West Virginia Wesleyan would give CU two wins over the Bobcats in the same season for the first time since the 2006-2007 season.
• A Concord win over Notre Dame College would be the first win for the Mountain Lions against NDC in school history, CU is 0-3 all-time versus the Falcons
