Box Score CLARION, Pa. – The Concord University volleyball team settled for another split at the Tony Banner Invitational on Saturday. The Mountain Lions lost a heartbreaking five-set match against Wayne State (25-22, 25-23, 24-26, 25-27, 12-15) before bouncing back to down Walsh in four sets (25-15, 25-19, 24-26, 25-19).

Brytni Willis continued their impressive play this weekend by recording 18 kills apiece while senior libero 
Amanda Walker tallied a career-high 26 digs. Senior setter 
Nikki McMillan dished out 20 assists.
The Mountain Lions had opportunities to close out the Warriors in the third and fourth sets, but couldn't quite finish the job losing the decisive fifth set by three points.
Complete stats from the Wayne State match are incomplete and will be posted when they become available.
Match 2 vs. WalshConcord easily won the first two sets by eight and 10 points, respectively, before putting away Walsh in the fourth set to improve to 2-2 on the season.
McMillan had 21 assists to finish the weekend with 69 helpers over the course of four matches. Fellow senior setter 
Whytni Willis collected 18 assists to best her previous career high of 12.
Jones came away with double-double for the Mountain Lions by registering 12 kills and 10 digs for CU. For her efforts, Jones was named to the all-tournament team. She finished the weekend with 49 kills. 
Brytni Willis recorded a game-high 16 kills to finish the weekend with double-digit kills in all four matches. Walker continued her stellar play on the defensive end with a team-high 15 digs.
A day after setting a career-high in kills with six, sophomore middle hitter 
Lauren Richardson finished with seven kills against Walsh. Freshman middle hitter 
Shea Hoffman had six kills.
The Mountain Lions will open up their home schedule Tuesday with a triangular against Alderson-Broaddus at 3 p.m. before returning to action against King University at 7 p.m.
