ATHENS, W. Va. - The Concord University baseball team will look to keep its winning-streak intact and move above the .500 mark for the first time this season when it hits the road to play Shippensburg University for a three-game series this weekend at Fairchild Field in Shippensburg, Pa.
The games were originally scheduled to be home contests for Concord in Beckley, W. Va., but were forced to be moved to Shippensburg late in the week due to the weather in southern West Virginia.
Records
Concord took three of four games from Indiana (Pa.), which like Shippensburg plays in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, to even its record at 5-5 on the season. CU took the final three games of the series against IUP.
Shippensburg is 4-1 and is also on a three-game winning streak with consecutive wins over Winston-Salem State as well as West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools Shepherd and Davis & Elkins.
All-Time Series
Concord and Shippensburg have met four times since the 1996 season, with all four games coming in the last two years. CU trails Shippensburg 3-1.

• Miller batted .412 with a five runs, two home runs, 11 RBI, a .500 on-base percentage and a .824 slugging percentage.
• Miller already has three home runs and 17 RBI this season, the most in the WVIAC in both categories.

Tyler Zimm, who gave up just two runs and four hits over five innings to go with two strikeouts.
• Junior outfielder
Bret Blevins has recorded hits in eight of his nine games played. Blevins leads CU in batting average (.447), hits (17), runs (13) and doubles (six).

• Senior outfielder
Devin Smith propelled Concord to an 11-6 win over Indiana in game two with a 3-for-5 performance that featured a go-ahead grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning.
• While Smith provided offensive power in game two, it was junior relief pitcher
Tim Leather who supplied the stability on the mound en route to his second win of the year.
• Leather threw 2.2 innings and allowed only one run, which was inherited from starter
Drew Spear, out of the bullpen to quiet the IUP bats. Leather has a team-low 1.64 ERA in 11 innings this year.
• Junior relief pitcher
Will Zuspan picked up his first save of the season in the Mountain Lions' 6-5 game three win vs. IUP. He has not allowed a run in his last three appearances.
• The win in game three went to junior pitcher
Tyler Coyle (1-0), who pitched 5.2 innings, allowing four runs and striking out four Crimson Hawks to earn the victory.
• Sophomore second baseman
