The Founders Club 16th
By holding steady round to round, Concord's men's golf team was able to move up and finish a solid 4th in the St. James Plantation Invite at The Founders Club course this weekend in Southport, NC.

It was the Mountain Lions' first event of the 2012 spring season.

CU opened the tournament Saturday with a 305 team score, good for 6th place in the 16-team field.  Sunday, the Mountain Lions posted a 304, which was good enough to move them past Millersville University (PA) and Bentley University (MA) in the team standings.

Evan Muscari posted a 73 and a 76 to end at +5 149, tied for 14th place.

Taylor Reilly showed the most round-to-round improvement.  The freshman from Winnipeg, Manitoba went from an 81 Saturday to a 73 on Sunday to tie for 27th at +10 154.
