SUNDAY DOUBLEHEADER CANCELED

Concord's Softball team has seen quite a lot of water this week.

There was the downpour that cut short the Lady Lions' doubleheader at WVU Tech on Wednesday.

Then there was snow during CU's matchup against Kentucky State on Friday afteroon in Athens.

Now, there's the case of too much water in Laurinburg, NC.

Concord was scheduled to meet St. Andrew's Presbyterian College for a non-conference doubleheader at 1:00 pm Sunday, March 26.

But with the series of storms that have swept through the southeastern US over the last few days, the Knights' home field is inundated by water.

So the twinbill is canceled.  It will not be made up.

Up next for Concord is a visit to Salem International for a non-conference doubleheader on Friday, April 1.  First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm in Salem, WV.
