Two days ago, the Concord Men's Soccer team lost a heartbreaker, on a literally last-second goal.

Wednesday, the Mountain Lions fell behind early and couldn't catch up.

CU spotted WVU Tech an early 2-0 lead in a 4-2 loss to the Golden Bears in a non-conference match at Coonskin Park in Charleston, WV.

The Golden Bears stunned Concord with a pair of goals in the first ten minutes.  CU pulled within 2-1, but Tech answered about five minutes later, then added another goal to go up by three.  Concord would score again but would get no closer.

Up next for Concord is a visit to Elkins, WV for a WVIAC match against Davis & Elkins College this coming Saturday, October 15.  Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
