Athens, WV-Concord's returning 3rd basemen Greyson Schram, was the WVIAC's lone representative on Baseball America's Division II players to watch list.
Schram, a Junior from Stanley, NC was 1st team all conference and led the WVIAC in runs scored with 64 and total bases with 146. He also boasted an impressive .451 batting average with 79 hits, 16 home runs (2nd in WVIAC), batting in 64 runs (2nd in WVIAC).
The Mountain Lions will be looking to build on the same success as last season. Concord enjoyed a school record 35 wins, national rankings as high as #12, automatic bids in both conference and regional tournaments, and finishing the season ranked #23 in the nation. With Schram Concord will have Tim Merolillo (RF) another First Team All-WVIAC player returning. Additionally Allen Schurdell (SP), Drew Bailey (RP), and Donovan Huffer (SS) who were Second Team All-WVIAC players will be back this spring.
