Volleyball slips in Livingston with Strong Effort

Salisbury, NC- The Concord University Volleyball squad traveled to Livingston College (3-0) on Tuesday night where the Lady Lions played four tight games. Concord won the first game 30-23, but then dropped the final three games 30-26, 30-20, 30-29.

Lindsey Sheppard had a great night, ending the night with 6 kills and pulling up 16 digs. Kayla Martin lead the team in kills with 9 and Hope Campbell was right behind her with 8.

Kelly Newberry finished second on the evening in digs with 12. Tomi Dement lead the team in sets with 23, with Megan Epperly adding 16.

Concord (1-3) will participate in the Charleston Tournament this week in Charleston, WV. Their first match-up begins at 2:00PM Friday against Bowie State.
