Prather broke his own school record in the 5,000-meter run at Grand Valley State on Friday, running 14:07.48. The Summersville, West Virginia native shattered the record by 15 seconds and in the process ran the 12th-fastest time in Division II in the early indoor track campaign. He finished sixth in the race.
