Prather ran a program-record time for 8,000-meters at the Paul Short Run Friday as he clocked 23:51 and finished second overall, just getting clipped by a Division I runner from Norfolk State. Prather's time was the first time in program history under 24 minutes for 8,000-meters and he helped the Mountain Lions to a 12th-place finish overall in a field of 45 teams.
