(WVIAC- Will Prewitt) Colby Whitfield, Concord, DB, Fr., 6-1, 175, San Francisco, CA:  Whitfield paced Concord to their first shutout since 1993 as the Mountain Lions downed UNC Pembroke 10-0...The freshman picked off two passes and recovered a fumble to help CU pick up their first win of the season...He also added six tackles, a forced fumble, and a tackle for loss. Colby earned WVIAC Defensive Player of the Week.
