Stehlin was named a Mountain East Conference Scholar-Athlete Finalist after carrying a 3.78 GPA throughout undergrad and a 3.5 GPA through his first year of graduate school. Stehlin was a three-time all-conference and all-region player and a 2021 All-American to cap his honors on the field.
