Proffitt was named to the All-Mountain East Conference Tournament Team after finishing fifth at the conference championship last week. Two of Proffit's three rounds were 75 or better. He opened the tournament with a 73 and capped the MEC Championship with a 75. His three-day total of 228 was just five strokes off the lead.
