Altizer broke the indoor track program record in the 3,000-meter run Saturday at VMI. Altizer came through in 10:25.40 to set the new mark by 11 seconds which was previously held by Bailey Knowles in 2019. The Riner, Virginia native finished fourth in the event as she registered the second fastest time in the MEC this season.
