Callaway was named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's NCAA Division II 2011 All-Academic Team on February 9.

The junior from Beaver, WV is majoring in health and physical education, with a minor in health promotion and plans to attend the occupational therapy program at West Virginia University after graduating from Concord.

A student-athlete must earn a GPA of 3.25 or greater through the most-recent semester and place in the top half of the most recent NCAA National Championships or in the top 30 percent at the NCAA Regional Championships to qualify for the USTFCCCA honor.

Callaway finished 9th in the WVIAC Championships last October and 45th of 169 at the Atlantic Regional meet last November.

Next fall, she’ll try to become the first Concord runner to make the All-WVIAC 1st Team four times.
