Carmichael was voted as the Mountain East Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in her career. The Fleming  Island, Florida native was part of a CU defense that allowed eight goals in 18 regular season games. Additionally, she scored one goal while assisting on head coach Luke Duffy's staff.
