Wiersma batted .500 (8-for-16) with six runs scored, three home runs, 10 RBI and two doubles as CU went 3-2 during the week. Wiersma smacked two doubles and a home run in a win over Bluefield State. In game two of the weekend series with UVa.-Wise, Wiersma had his second career multi-home run to lift  Concord to a 15-3 win. In the series finale, Wiersma had the game-tying hit in the seventh to send the game to extra innings where the Mountain Lions won and clinched a spot in the MEC Tournament. Wiersma's overall slugging percentage was 1.188 in five games
