Thompson was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. The Clifton Forge, Virginia native earned All-MEC Honorable Mention in the triple jump at the Mountain East Conference Championships in May. In the classroom, Thompson has a 3.44 GPA as a health science major.
