Weitzel won the mile run at the Finn-Pincus Invite over the weekend. He clocked a time of 4:18.06 as he edged Lynchburg's Reid Sharkey by .01 seconds for the win. Additionally, Weitzel was on Concord's distance medley relay team that placed second at the meet with a time of 10:28.55.
