Ruiz recorded her first All-MEC First Team performance by finishing sixth Saturday at the MEC Championship. The Charles Town, West Virginia native ran the 6,000-meter course in a time of 25:54. Ruiz led Concord to a third-place team finish which was a significant improvement from last year's ninth-place showing at the MEC Championship.
