Meadows ran a personal-best time of 1:58.94 in the 800-meter run to win the event at the Bobcat Open Friday night. The Beckley, West Virginia native also moved up from 12th to sixth on the Mountain East Conference performance list with his stellar time. Meadows returned later in the meet to run a season-best time of 23.54 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
