Redshirt freshman quarterback Brian Novak threw for 271 yards and a career-high three touchdowns in Concord’s 44-6 victory over UVa.-Wise. Novak, who completed 16 of 27 pass attempts, led the Mountain Lions’ offense to scores on eight of CU’s 13 drives. Novak’s 271 passing yards were the most of any MEC quarterback in week nine.
