McDougall tossed two complete game shutouts in wins over Clarion and Edinboro at the Shaw Softball Challenge last week. The Chesapeake, Virginia limited Clarion to three hits while striking out five hitters in a 1-0 CU win. Later in the tournament against Edinboro, McDougall struck out three batters while holding the Fightin Scots to two hits. This season, McDougall has a team-best 5-3 record while striking out 29 batters in 53 innings of work.
