Concord University junior Lacey McDougall started her 2014 season off with an impressive performance in the Mountain Lions’ season-opening doubleheader sweep over St. Andrew’s last week. In two games, McDougall went 6-for-8 from the plate with two runs scored, three RBI and one double in addition to on-base and slugging percentages of .875 and .778, respectfully. In the circle, McDougall made relief appearances in both games, totaling one victory in five innings pitched, with four strikeouts and a 1.40 ERA. Opponents hit just .167 against McDougall.
