Adebulu made his season debut in the heptathlon as he registered a career-best point total of 3,661 to finish fourth. Adebulu's best events were the high jump that he won with a clearance 1.83 meters. He picked up 653 points. In the shot put, Adebulu scored 488 points and finished second after tossing 10.04 meters, and in the 60-meter hurdles he sprinted 9.70 seconds to earn 599 points and a fourth-place finish.He ranks sixth in the MEC in the heptathlon this year.
