Concord University senior Jeff Fertig just missed hitting an NCAA provisonal qualifying mark in the high jump at the Wake Forest Invitational last weekend. Fertig cleared 2.03 meters, just 0.01 off of the NCAA provisonal mark, to come away with a second-place finish.
