Sophomore forward Terry Hopewell nearly led the Concord University men’s basketball team to an upset victory over No. 1 West Liberty after going for a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Hopewell, the MEC’s second-leading shot blocker, also rejected a pair of shots in addition to two steals. The Columbus, Ohio native shot a more than respectable 8-for-12 (66.7 percent) from the field.
