Senior designated hitter Jacob Mays led Concord to a 2-3 record last week. In five games, Mays hit .400 (6-for-15) with an on-base percentage of .571 in addition to a .933 slugging percentage. Of Mays’ five hits, two were home runs and two more went for doubles. He also scored eight runs, walked three times and was hit by three pitches.
The senior was an impressive 3-for-3 with five runs scored, one home run, three RBI, two doubles and three walks in CU’s 16-14 loss at WV State Saturday.
