Ward had two impressive performances at the Dr. Jack Toms Invite over the Weekend. He finished fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as he clocked 9:41.05, also the fifth-fastest time in the MEC this spring. He placed sixth in the 5,000-meter run in a showing of 15:04.78 which is sixth in the MEC during the outdoor season.
